The Urban County Program is requesting authorization to advertise for bids for the demolition of Imhoff tank and construction of new testing lab at the Elsa Wastewater Treatment Plant, an Urban County Program Year 18 & 21 (2005 & 2008) Water/Sewer improvement project. Project engineer is J.E. Saenz & Associates.
BACKGROUND
The Urban County Program is proposing to demolish the existing Imhoff tank and construct a new testing lab to include all related appurtenances for project completion to meet TCEQ requirements. The Urban County Program will utilize City of Elsa allocation from Year 18 (2005) and Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 (Elsa) allocation from Year 21 (2008), Water/Sewer improvements funds. Plans and specifications have been completed and approved by the City of Elsa.
