BACKGROUND
The Bureau of Justice Assistance administers the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program which provides federal payments for the incurring of salary costs of correctional officers for incarcerating undocumented criminal aliens.
Said payments will be made to General Fund and are to be used for correctional purposes only.
