Requesting authorization to extend fiscal year agreement with Mujeres Unidas/Women Together-ESG Program YR 20- (2007) until May 31, 2009. Their agreement terminated Dec. 31, 2008 and had been extended until May 15, 2009.
BACKGROUND
UCP is requesting authorization to amend the agreement between Mujeres Unidas/Women Together and the Hidalgo County ESG Program-YR 20 (2007) until May 31, 2009. Mujeres Unidas/Women Together has requested a final two weeks extension of the agreement until May 31, 2009 to be able to expend all the funds for YR 20 (2007). All funds have been expended and we recommend approval. The two year contract with HUD for YR 20 ends on June 30, 2009.
The grant awarded to Mujeres Unidas/Women Together in the amount of $203,000.00 will not change.
