Approval to award a Construction Contract to Sascon, Inc. for street improvements to 10th Street (Cardinal Street) using Urban County Program Year 17 (2004) and Year 18 (2005) City of La Villa Street Improvement funds in the amount of $87,107.50.
BACKGROUND
The City of La Villa requests approval of the lowest sole bid submitted by Sascon Inc. in conjunction with the 2004/2005 Street Improvement Project. The construction consists of improvements to the 10th Street (Cardinal Street) to include, but not limited to curb & gutter and 5' sidewalk. The Construction Contract shall be in the amount of $87,107.50. See attached bid tabulation, sole bid received, recommendation from project engineer and recommendation to approve award from the City of La Villa.
