Hidalgo County Urban County Program, on behalf of the City of Peñitas, is requesting approval of a Budget & Program Amendment to the existing work plan for Urban County Program Year 18 (2005), Year 20 (2007), Year 21 (2008) and Year 22 (2009).

City of Peñitas held a Public Hearing on December 14, 2009 at 6:30 P.M., and citizen participation requirements have been met.  See attached detailed amendment.

The proposed City of Peñitas amendment will:
* delete the Construction of Housing activity and transfer funds into the Street Improvement line item.

* add to the existing work plans: Drainage, water/sewer and paving infrastructure to include any other appurtenances as needed to Espaniola Heights and Barcelona Heights Subdivisions to include, but not limited to, any other streets in the general vicinity.

* create a Public Facilities line item for:  The purchase of eligible items for the City Library. (Activity will be funded with Program Income.)
