Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Hidalgo is requesting authority to purchase a Pierce 2010 Freightliner Tanker through Hidalgo County's membership and participation with Buy Board (Texas Association of School Boards) approved vendor Siddons Fire Apparatus, Inc. (contract # 245-06) in the amount of $175,000.00 (quote attached hereto) to include fees and accessories as requested. City of Hidalgo UCP Year 22 (2009) Fire Station Equipment funds will be utilized.
BACKGROUND
The fire fighting unit will be purchased for use in the city limits of Hidalgo. Payment in the amount of $175,000.00, will include warranties, customer assistance, delivery and co-op fees. Delivery is expected within 7 to 8 months.
