Requesting authorization to extend agreement with Mujeres Unidas/Women Together-ESG Surplus Funds until June 15, 2010. The agreement terminated March 31, 2010.
BACKGROUND
UCP is requesting authorization to amend the agreement between Mujeres Unidas/Women Together and the Hidalgo County ESG Surplus Funds Program until June 15, 2010. HUD had requested that the Hidalgo County-Urban County expend surplus funds that had not been recaptured from prior years. The agreement had been presented and approved by Commissioners’ Court on March 17, 2009 with a deadline of March 30, 2010. We are requesting an extension to the agreement from March 31, 2010 until June 15, 2010 to expend all remaining funds.
The grant awarded to Mujeres Unidas/Women Together in the amount of $ 75,000.00 will not change.
