Urban County Program on behalf of the City of La Villa is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a Construction Contract with G.A.S. Enterprises, Inc. (lowest bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements) for a Parks, Recreational Facilities project located in the City of La Villa in the amount of $58,878.00 utilizing Year 22 & 23 (2009, 2010) Parks, Recreational Facilities funds.  The project consists of the installation of a restroom (20’ X 20’ building) with water and sewer lines and a concrete walk way.

The City of La Villa has requested and received bids for the Park, Recreational Facilities project.  Noe Garza Engineers, Inc. prepared specification packages and bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County – Purchasing Department on June 2, 2010.  After review the project engineer recommended G.A.S Enterprises, Inc. as the lowest of two (2) qualified bidders.  (See attached recommendation letter from Noe Garza Engineers, Inc. and copy of bid tabulations.)
