Correction and clarification to AI-#19873/Item 21.A.6. approved by CC on 2-16-10 to reflect the following in connection with an upgrade to the existing "Library Solution" System with The Library Corporation (as procured in 2007 by the Brownsville Public Library for participating members including the Hidalgo County Library System);

a.  Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements, Texas Local Government Code, 262.024 (a)(7)- 'an item that can be obtained from only one source';

b.  Approval of a "Sole Source Declaration" with The Library Corporation including the purchase of an upgrade to the existing "Library Solution" System in an amount not to exceed $97,511.00 for initial year and second (2nd) year costs in the amount of $27,317.00;

c.  Approval for option to purchase one component of the automation system approved above (60-001T) in the amount of $27,000.00 through the original AI-#19873 as approved on 2-16-10 (i.e. GSA)
