1.  Request to rescind the authority to negotiate contract with L&G Engineering Laboratory LLC., the highest rated firm for the City of Weslaco 2010 Water/Sewer Improvements project utilizing Hidalgo County Urban County Program funds.

2.  Request to negotiate a professional engineering service contract with the No. 2 or No. 3 ranked firms as necessary for an Urban County Program - City of Weslaco 2010 Water/Sewer Improvements project.

Hidalgo County Urban County Program requested authority to negotiate a professional engineering service contract with the No. 1 ranked firm of L&G Engineering Laboratory LLC., for the provision of engineering services for an Urban County Program, City of Weslaco 2010 Water/Sewer Improvement project on October 19, 2010. Negotiations with L&G Engineering Laboratory, LLC were not reached. L&G Engineering Laboratory, LLC, has opted to withdraw from the project and the City has requested that Urban County Program request authority to negotiate with the second or third rated engineering firm as needed to reach a negotiated engineering firm fee.
