Requesting authorization to dispose of HOME records with maturity dates between July 14, 1999 thru July 3, 2004. 

BACKGROUND

The record retention regulation (24 CRF 92.508(c)(2)) for the Homeowner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program assisted clients states:

“For homeownership housing project, records may be retained for five years after the project completion date, except for documents imposing recapture/resale restrictions which must be retained for five year after the affordability period terminates.”

The Homeowner-Occupied Rehabilitation assisted client files maturity dates range from 1999 to 2004. Thereby meeting the “five years after the affordability period.” (see attached records)
