a.  Status report regarding the negotiation process with the number one ranked firm of Negrete-Kolar for the selection of an "Owner's Representative" services in connection with the design and construction of the new Sherif's Office Sub-Station in the Precinct No. 1 area as approved by Commissioners Court on November 2, 2010 (AI-23679);

b.  Request and recommendation by Sheriff's Office to cease negotiations with Negrete-Kolar inasmuch as Sheriff's Office wishes to explore the option of engaging a Construction Manager and not an architect as an "Owner's Representative";

c.  Requesting approval to cancel current project of engaging an Architectural firm for the provision of "Owner's Representative" services;

d.  Due to time constraints, approval to seek proposals from Construction Management Services awarded vendors through the County's memberships/participation with cooperative purchasing programs and thus complying with Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 271., Section 117 and Professional Services Procurement Act-Chapter 2254, Section .004 and all other applicalbe laws; or in the alternative,

e.  Authority to advertise a Request for Qualifications for Construction Management Service for Hidalgo County.
