1.  Approval to change the funding source for all positions under account no. HIDTA Task Force (Fund 1291, pgm 003) to Other States Asset Fund (Fund 1253, pgm 013).

2.  Approval of appropriation of funds for the HIDTA Other States Asset Fund (Fund 1253) in the amount of $177,965.00.

3.  Approval of revised/salary schedule(s).

The United States federal budget for 2011 was passed by the House of Representatives, but not by the Senate.  Consequently, all federal grants (HIDTA included) will not be awarded until the Senate passes the budget.  On December 22, 2010, the Congress voted it's second continuing resolution, until March 4, 2011.

In anticipation of the time-lapse between the 2010 and 2011 HIDTA Grants, the Hidalgo County HIDTA Task Force appropriated for an estimation of seven (7) pay periods and other operational expenses to be covered by the Hidalgo County HIDTA Task Force's asset forfeiture fund (1253 account).

Therefore, the slot no.(s) have been deleted under the HIDTA Task Force account (acct. no. 1-1291-412-00-270-003-0-XXX) and transferred to HIDTA - Other States Asset account (acct. no. 1-1253-412-00-270-013-0-XXX). Once the grant is approved/renewed the positions will then be reinstated under the HIDTA Task Force Grant (Fund 1291).
