The CDBG Disaster Recovery Program is requesting the award of bids and approval of contracts for the demolition and reconstruction of the following:
(2) units in the City of Donna and (1) unit in the Countywide area in the amount of $164,900.00 to JR. Limas Construction.

BACKGROUND
These families were approved to receive assistance under the CDBG Disaster Recovery Program by the Commissioners' Court on January 18, 2011 and February 8, 2011. Bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County Purchasing Department on March 23, 2011.
Please note that G&G Contractors was the lowest bidder for the Maria Brito project (City of Donna). Due to G&G Contractor withdrawing their bid for this project, the UCP is awarding this bid to JR Limas Construction (second lowest bidder). See attachments
