Approval of an Interlocal Agreement with the City of McAllen and Hidalgo County Urban County Program for the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP) in the amount of $135,887.21.
BACKGROUND
This grant was approved by a Substantial Amendment to the 2009 Action Plan under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (“Recovery Act”). The City of McAllen will use the funds for the City of McAllen residents. The Agreement will expire on July 20, 2012. The services will include the following: Financial Assistance, Housing Relocation & Stabilization Service and Data Collection & Evaluation under the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program.
