The Urban County Program is requesting authorization for the Hidalgo County Judge to sign for the submittal of the following Texas Department of Rural Affairs (TDRA), Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) Program Fund Applications:

1.  2010 TDRA TxCDBG Colonia Economically Distress Area Program (CEDAP) Application
2.  2011-2012 TDRA TxCDBG Colonia Construction Fund Application

In order to obtain the 2010 TDRA CEDAP Application and the 2011-2012 TDRA Colonia Construction Fund Application, the County Judge or designee must sign and forward the applications to the Office of the Texas Department of Rural Affairs. The 2010 TDRA TxCDBG Colonia Economically Distress Area Program (CEDAP) grant is for four colonias in Pct. # 3.  The 2011-2012 TDRA TxCDBG Colonia Construction Fund Application is for two colonias in Pct. # 4.
