Urban County Program is requesting approval of a budget and program amendment for the City of La Joya Urban County Program Year 23 (2010). The amendment will reprogram funds from the Street Improvements activity to the Parks, Recreational Facility Improvements activity to aid in the cost of fencing and the purchase of park equipment at Military, Municipal, and Tabasco Park.
BACKGROUND
A Public Hearing was held on June 14, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. and citizen participation requirements have been met. (See attached detailed amendment). The proposed budget and program amendment will delete the Street Improvements activity and increase funding for the Parks, Recreational Facility Improvements activity for fencing and the purchase of park equipment at Military, Municipal, and Tabasco Park for Year 23 (2010).
Year 23 (2010):
Delete Street Improvement activity in the amount of $55,000.00 and
Increase the Parks, Recreational Facility Improvements activity funds in the amount of $55,000.00.
