The Urban County Program is requesting the award of bids and approval of contracts for the demolition and reconstruction of the following:

1. (2) Units in the Countywide area in the amount of $94,000.00 to De Leon Construction.
2. (1) Unit in the Countywide area and (1) Unit in the City of Donna in the amount of $94,096.00 to G & G Contractors.

BACKGROUND

STAFF COMMENTS & RECOMMENDATION:
The applicants were approved to receive assistance under the Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program by the County Commissioners’ Court on April 26, 2011, May 31, 2011, July 12, 2011 and September 2, 2011. Bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County Purchasing Department on Wednesday, September 14, 2011.
