Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Mercedes is requesting authority to purchase Library Equipment/Furniture through Hidalgo County’s membership and participation with Buy Board, approved vendor Gaylord Bros., Inc. (contract #337-10) in the amount of $7,534.68 (quote attached hereto) to include shipping fees requested by the City of Mercedes. UCP Year 24 (2011) Mercedes Public Services (General) funds will be utilized.
BACKGROUND
The library equipment/furniture to be purchased will be placed at the Dr. Hector P. Garcia Memorial Library in Mercedes, Texas. Gaylord Bros. Inc., is an approved vendor through the Buy Board, Contract #377-10. Delivery is expected within 30 days from receipt of purchase order.
