a. Pursuant to the sole source declaration approved by CC in February of 2011 (including statutory provisions under the Health and Safety code attached hereto), requesting acceptance and approval of invoices received from Palm Valley Animal Center for the months of October, November and December in the amount of $112,500.00;
b. Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements under Texas Local Government Code 262.024 (a)(7)...'an item that can be obtained from only one source;
c. Approval of a "Sole Source Declaration" for PALM VALLEY ANIMAL CENTER for the provision of: Impoundment and the Quarantine of Small Animals in Hidalgo County;
d. Approval of Contract #C-12-033-12-29 with Palm Valley Animal Center Sole Source vendor for "Hidalgo County-Impoundment and Quarantine of Small Animals" effective January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2014 with terms, rates and conditions as stated in proposal and made part of agreement by reference.
