The HOME Division of the Urban County Program requests approval of two (2) amendments to the Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDO) Policy.
BACKGROUND
The Urban County Program HOME Division CHDO Policy was amended and approved by the Advisory Council in February of 2007. The approved amendments are as follows:
- 60-Day Deadline – Upon contract completion, CHDO’s are required to submit all relative documentation (client information and financial) regarding all units.
- Income Determination – All CHDO’s are required to use the HUD Income Calculator or the UCP HOME Division Income Determination Form.
The Urban County Program has acquired approval of the aforementioned amendments by the Hidalgo County Advisory Council and respectfully recommends final authorization by the Hidalgo County Commissioners’ Court.
