1.  Urban County Program is requesting consideration and approval to modify the Construction Contract Change Order Request No. 2 previously submitted to the General Land Office (GLO) Contract No. 10-5066-000-5043 (formerly TDRA DRS010068), regarding the Pct. 1 Delta Outfall Drainage System Improvements Project. The Change Order will increase the number of calendar days allotted in the construction service contract awarded to Tropical Construction, LLC. , by sixty (60) days for a total of 194 days.

2.  Consideration and approval to authorize the County Judge to sign any and all documents associated with Change Orders and/or Amendments pertaining to GLO Contract No. 10-5066-000-5043.

BACKGROUND

Due to extenuating circumstances, beyond our control, preventing the completion of contract activities within the prescribed contract period, it is necessary that we request an extension of the original construction contract close-out date. Attached for your reference is the justification letter from the project engineer, Dos Logistics, and change order request data.
