The City of Edcouch and Precinct No. 1 has requested and received bids for the street and drainage improvements project. Guzman & Muñoz Engineering and Surveying, Inc., prepared specification packages and bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County – Purchasing Department on February 29, 2012. After review the project engineer recommended Jimmy Closner & Sons Construction Co., Inc., as the lowest of nine (9) qualified bidders.
