Approval of a Proclamation declaring June 2012 Home Ownership Month within the County of Hidalgo
BACKGROUND
In observation of National Homeownership Month and in order to raise public awareness on how to become a home owner, the Urban County Program is requesting approval to declare June 2012 Homeownership Month within the County of Hidalgo.
The UCP would also like to announce that Affordable Homes of South Texas Inc. (AHSTI), in conjunction with the City of McAllen, is sponsoring their 14th Annual Homebuyer’s Fair that will take place on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the McAllen Convention Center from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. This fair is free to the public. If anyone would like additional information on the Homebuyer’s Fair, they may contact the Urban County Program at 956-787-8127, AHSTI at 956-687-6263 or visit the website at www.thehomebuyersfair.org
