Presentation of difference options for CC consideration and approval in connection with improvements to a County-owned building housing the Hidalgo County WIC Program:

A.  Approval of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), drafted by legal counsel, between Hidalgo County and the Hidalgo County WIC Program in connection with the housing of the program at the county-owned site located at 3105 E. Richardson Road, Edinburg, Texas;

B.  Recommendation by project architect, Dannenbaum to award lowest bid received in connection with: Additions and Renovations to the WIC Clinic/Offices located at 3105 E. Richardson, Edinburg, Texas-RFB #2012-021-02-29-MSS; OR,

C. As requested by WIC Program Director, Ms. Norma Longoria, recommendation to reject all bids received for Hidalgo County W.I.C. Program, -Additions and Renovations to the WIC Clinic/Offices located at 3105 E. Richardson, Edinburg, Texas. RFB No. 2012-021-02-29-MSS as all proposals were over budget;

D. Pursuant to AIA, B-101, 2007 Form of Agreement between Hidalgo County (Owner) and Dannenbaum Engineering Company (Architect), Sections 6.6.4 & 6.7, proceed to revise project program, scopes or quality as required to reduce cost of the work without additional compensation approval for architect to modify the construction documents;

E. Requesting authority to re-advertise and approval of revised plans and specifications developed by project architect Dannenbaum Engineering Company for the project:  Hidalgo County WIC Program -Additions and Renovations to the W.I.C. Clinic/Offices located at 3105 E. Richardson, Edinburg, Texas. RFB No. 2012-021A-06-13-MSS;
