Urban County Program, on behalf of the City of Palmview, is requesting approval of a best and final negotiated contract for professional engineering services with SAMES, Inc. in the amount of $13,000.00 utilizing Year 24 (2011) Urban County funds for street improvements in J&O Subdivision in Palmview, Texas.

SAMES, Inc. has submitted a best and final offer for the required professional engineering services
for the 2011 street improvements project which consists of surveying services, geotechnical and construction material testing services, and engineering and design plans and specifications. SAMES, Inc. was the highest ranked firm by Commissioner’s Court on July 10th 2012. Contract approval in the amount of $13,000.00 is being requested for engineering and legal counsel has approved the form contract as of 04/26/2012.
