BACKGROUND
Hidalgo County Public Health Emergency Preparedness Division has conducted the medical readiness full scale exercise known as Operation Lone Star for the past 13 years. State and federal agencies join Hidalgo County PHEP Division in exercising the provision of medical services to Hidalgo County residents during a disaster response scenario.
