Urban County Program, on behalf of the City of Palmview, is requesting approval of a best and final negotiated contract for professional engineering services with SAMES, Inc. in the amount of $22,435.45 utilizing Years 16, 23, & 24 (2003, 2010, & 2011) Urban County funds for street improvements on the Bentsen Palm Bridge in Palmview, Texas.

SAMES, Inc. has submitted a best and final offer for the required professional engineering services
for the 2011 street improvements project which consists of surveying services, geotechnical and construction material testing services, and engineering and design plans and specifications. SAMES, Inc. was the highest ranked firm by Commissioner’s Court on October 16, 2012. Contract approval in the amount of $22,435.45 is being requested for engineering and legal counsel has approved the form contract as of April 26, 2012.
