Urban County Program, on behalf of the City of Palmview, is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Texas Cordia Construction for a 2011 Street Improvements project in the amount of $110,665.20, utilizing funds from UCP Years 23 & 24 (2010 & 2011), Urban County Street Improvements line item.

The bid opening was held June 5, 2013 and the lowest bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was Texas Cordia Construction. The project involves street improvements at J.O. Subdivision located on South La Homa Road in Palmview, Texas. Please see attached recommendation by the project engineer, city’s recommendation letter and contractor’s general liability insurance. Project’s engineering firm is SAMES, Inc.
