Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Mercedes is requesting authority to purchase tables and chairs for the children’s area at the Library. Purchase will be made from Library Interiors of Texas (contract # 414-12) an approved vendor through Hidalgo County’s membership and participation with State of Texas Buy Board. The total amount of purchase is $6,775.44 (quote attached) for the Mercedes Library funded thru FY 26 (2013) Mercedes – Public Service (general) line item.
BACKGROUND
The tables and chairs purchased will be utilized at the Mercedes Library children’s area. See attached quote.
