Requesting approval of a program amendment for the City of La Villa to its Urban County Program FYs’ 16, 18, 24, 25 & 26 (2003, 2005, 2011, 2012 & 2013) work plans. The amendment will delete the following project descriptions: construction of a belt filter press and an aerobic digester at the wastewater treatment plant and the planning, design and new construction of a 100,000 gallon water elevated storage tank, will also add a new activity for the wastewater treatment plant.

The proposed amendment will delete the following project descriptions:

The construction of a Belt Filter Press and Aerobic digester at the wastewater treatment plant and the new construction of a 100,000 gallon water elevated storage tank.

The proposed amendment will add the following project description:

Construction of new concrete headworks with mechanical bar screen, wash trough with auger, and dumpster on a concrete pad; removal and upgrades to mechanisms and controls of two existing 21’-0” dia. by 10’-6” deep clarifiers; new sludge dewatering station with concrete pad, polymer feed pumps, and two roll-off tanks. The complete project will incorporate all necessary piping, electrical conduit, wiring and equipment, and site work as required to achieve a fully functioning, integrated treatment plant. Project will also include but not limited to professional engineering service fees, testing fees, advertisements and any other related appurtenances, or expenses for the completion of the project.
