The Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Palmview, is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with SANCO General Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $111,038.00. UCP funds in Years 23, 24 & 25 (2010, 2011 & 2012) Street Improvements line item will be utilized.

 The bid opening was held on April 30, 2014 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was SANCO General Contracting, Inc. The project involves the rehabilitation of Abram Road Bridge in Palmview, Texas. Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer, city’s recommendation letter and contractor’s general liability insurance. Project engineer firm is SAM Engineering and Surveying, Inc.
