The Urban County Program is requesting authorization for the County Judge to sign the Combined Notice of Finding of No Significant Impact and Notice of Intent to Request Release of Funds and the Request for Release of Funds and Certification for the 2005 HOME Funds for the Community Development Corporation of South Texas, Inc. (CDCST, Inc.), a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) in the amount of $400,000.

In order for the Urban County Program to receive the 2005 HOME CHDO funds for CDCST, Inc. the County Judge or designee must sign and forward the NOI/RROF to the Office of Housing and Urban Development by the published time line. The UCP along with CDCST, Inc., is requesting $400,000 for the construction of ten (10) new single-family homes, which are located at various sites in low to moderate-income areas within Hidalgo County. The Urban County Program has completed a preliminary Environmental Review Record for the project as a whole. The specific site information will be cleared as each individual property is disclosed.
