Urban County Program on behalf of Precinct No. 1 is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Texas Cordia Construction, LLC for the Street Improvements (Old La Blanca Road) project with a total contract amount of $315,000.00. Utilizing UCP – Precinct No. 1 Street Improvement funds FYs’ 23, 25, 26 & 27 (2010, 2012, 2013 & 2014).

LeFEVRE Engineering and Management Consultant, LLC. prepared the specification packages and bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County – Purchasing Department on August 6, 2014 for a Precinct No. 1 Street improvements project (Old La Blanca Road). After review the project engineer recommended Texas Cordia Construction, LLC as the lowest of two (2) qualified bidders. (See attached recommendation letter from project engineer, copy of bid tabulation sheet and certificate of insurance.)
