Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Progreso is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with 2GS, LLC for the Paving Improvements project with a total contract amount of $192,155.00. Utilizing UCP – City of Progreso Street Improvement funds FYs’ 25 & 26 (2012 & 2013).

BACKGROUND

Javier Hinojosa Engineering prepared the specification packages and bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County – Purchasing Department on December 10, 2014 for the City of Progreso Paving Improvements project. After review the project engineer recommended 2GS, LLC as the lowest of four (4) qualified bidders. (See attached recommendation letter from project engineer, copy of bid tabulation sheet and certificate of insurance.)

Funds Available:         $    58,708.19      FY 25 (2012) Street Improvements
