Requesting approval for reimbursement for Sergeant Glen Mendoza in the amount of $21.22 for the purchase of coolant fluid for county vehicle.
BACKGROUND
While working Patrol, Sergeant Glen Mendoza was responding to a call in the field when he observed vapor coming out of engine compartment. An inspection of his unit revealed a hose clamp had loosen, causing coolant fluid to expel. He was able to tighten the clamp and purchased coolant fluid at a nearby store to continue his tour of duty. In doing so he prevented work stoppage and a more costly solution.
