A. Presentation/recommendations from Wm. "Bill" Rusteberg, Insurance Advisory Group, Inc., Hidalgo County's current consultant for 457 Deferred Compensation and Voluntary Section 125/Cafeteria Plans for discussion, consideration and applicable action on the County's options to exercise the first of two (2) - one (1) year extensions (as provided under the current agreements) for following products:
1) Block Vision (through agent Dennis Carruth)
2) Allstate - Cancer, Universal Life, Heart/Stroke & Critical Illness Insurances (through agent Alamo Insurance);
3) AIG - Accidental Insurance (through Alamo Insurance)
Note: Dental product through Jesse Trevino Insurance is effective through 1-31-09; or, in the alternative,
B. Requesting authority to advertise for all Voluntary Section 125/Cafeteria Plan Products which are due to expire on 1-31-08 for Hidalgo County;
C. Presentation for discussion consideration and approval to extend the acceptance date from 9-12-07 to 9-26-07 for the RFP (Request for Proposals) for Consulting Services for the Deferred Compensation and Volutary Products (Cafeteria) Plans for Hidalgo County
