The Urban County Program for Precinct No. 3 is requesting authority to award and enter into a Construction Contract with IOC Company, LLC (lowest bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements) for the street improvements at Park Drive & Community Access Road located in the City of Palmview in the amount of $171,870.51 utilizing Precinct 3 Year 19 (2006) Street Improvement funds.
BACKGROUND
The Year 19 (2006) street improvement funds, recaptured from the City of Palmview, are being administered by Precinct No. 3 with an understanding with the city to complete proposed projects. The street improvements will provide adequate access to the Palmview City Park and Palmview Multi-Purpose Facility. See attached recommendation by the project engineer. (Project Engineer: Dannenbaum Engineering Company)
