Award of ORCA 2007 Colonia Construction Grant #727055 of bid and approval of contract with Garza Plumbing Inc. of Edinburg, Texas (the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and requirements) in the amount of $40,100 for first time sewer improvements to Colonia Panfilo Martinez located in the City of Donna's ETJ area in Pct. # 1.
BACKGROUND
The project consists of first time sewer service yard lines and septic tank remediations and related appurtenances to forty- nine (49) residents in Colonia Panfilo Martinez located in the City of Donna's ETJ area in Pct. # 1. Bid opening was held on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 and Garza Plumbing Inc. was the lowest of three (3) bidders.
Attached please find the engineer's recommendation letter and the bid tabulation sheet.
UCP colonia staff recommends approval.
