Requesting authorization to extend fiscal year agreement with Mujeres Unidas/Women Together- ESG Program Yr 19 - (2006) for a period of one (1) month ending January 31, 2008. Their original agreement ends on December 31, 2007.
BACKGROUND
UCP is requesting authorization to amend the agreement between Mujeres Unidas/Women Together and the Hidalgo County-Urban County Program for the ESG Program - YR 19 (2006). Mujeres Unidas/Women Together has indicated that they will not been able to expend all their ESG funds by the agreement deadline of December 31, 2007. This amendment will allow Mujeres Unidas/Women an additional month to expend all their funds, thereby extending their agreement until January 31, 2008.
The grant awarded to Mujeres Unidas/Women Together in the amount of $207,168 will not change.
