Consideration and Approval of an amendment to the Urban County City of Mercedes Year 20 (2007) CDBG workplan allowing program change to include the Mercedes Recreational Center for funding as a Youth Services.
BACKGROUND
Urban County Program (Mercedes) is requesting approval of the Program Amendment for Program Year 20 (2007) to provide additional Youth Services through the Mercedes Recreational Center. The Mid-Valley Boys & Girls Club was overseeing the Mercedes Youth Services, however, on October 1, 2007, the City of Mercedes opted to serve the youth though it's own recreational center. A public hearing was held on November 6 2007 at 6:30 p.m. and citizen participation requirements have been met.
