The Urban County Program is requesting approval to award the lowest quote and enter into a lease agreement with H & V Equipment for the use of a Champion 710A Motorgrader and an Ingram AP-915 Pneumatic Roller for up to three months in the amount of $6,900.00 per month. The equipment will be utilized for the Urban County Pct. 1 2006 (Year 19) & 2007 (Year 20) Street Improvements Project being undertaken as a force account project.

BACKGROUND

Three quotes were received for the leasing of a Champion 710A Motograder and an Ingram AP-915 Pneumatic Roller to be utilized for street improvements under the 2006 (Year 19) & 2007 (Year 20) work plan. H & V Equipment submitted the lowest quote of $6,900 per month for both items up to three months. See attached quotes.

Lease Agreement Amount:             $    6,900.00 per month up to three (3) months
Funds Available:                             $  27,900.07 (2006 FY 19)
                                                       $607,505.00 (2007 FY 20)
