The Urban County Program is requesting approval and award of contract for the best and final negotiated contract amount with Dos Logistics, Inc. (the number one ranked firm) in the amount of $500,000.00 for planning and professional engineering services for the development of an Environmental Information Study and a Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) in connection with Pct. 1 Water and Sewer Improvements and Planning Activities utilizing Year 20 (2007) funds.
BACKGROUND
Precinct No. 1 has negotiated a best and final contract amount with Dos Logistics, Inc. for a professional engineering services contract in the amount of $500,000.00 for the development of an Environmental Information Study and Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) as the first step in addressing the Water and Wastewater needs of the cities of Elsa, Edcouch and La Villa. See attached scope of work.
Funds Available: $100,000.00 (2007 FY 20 - Planning Services)
$430,000.00 (2007 FY 20 - Water/Sewer Improvements)
Total Funds Available: $530,000.00
Contract Amount: $500,000.00
