The Urban County Program is requesting that Commissioners' Court rescind action taken on December 18, 2007 (A1-7089) regarding the approval to enter into a lease agreement with H & V for the use of a Champion 710A Motorgrader and an Ingram AP-915 Pneumatic Roller for up to three months in the amount of $6,900.00 per month (NTE $20,700).  The equipment would have been utilized for the Urban County Pct. 1 2006 (Year 19) & 2007 (Year 20) Street Improvements Project being undertaken as a force account project.

BACKGROUND

After legal review of the vendor's lease agreement, it is not in Hidalgo County's best interest to utilize the vendor's lease agreement due to stringent insurance requirements.  Request to rescind the court's action is being requested.
