Presentation for consideration, discussion and action to award of bid and approval of a contract to Rigney Construction, the lowest qualified bid received, meeting all specifications and requirements for Construction of Recreational Facility in the City of La Joya in connection with a City of La Joya Park, Recreational Facility project utilizing Years 17 (2004), 18 (2005), and 20 (2007).
BACKGROUND
The City of La Joya requests approval to award a contract in the amount of $289,000.00 with Rigney Construction for the Park, Recreational Facility project. The project consists of the design of a 100' x 150' open-air pavilion including site fill, concrete foundation, pre-engineered structure with metal roof panels, and a basketball court. (See attached bid tabulation sheet).
