HCSO 2018 Operation Stonegarden Grant (OPSG) (1284):
1. Approval to use General Fund to pay for disallowed overtime & fringes in relation to the HCSO 2018 Operation Stonegarden (OPSG) grant in the amount of $22,662.38 with authority for the County Auditor's Office to reclassify the disallowed expenses to the Sheriff's Office General Fund account.
2. Approval of interdepartmental transfer from Co. Wide Adm.-Contingency to Sheriff to fund the disallowed overtime & fringes. 

As requested by Auditor's Office and HCSO staff, this agenda item is needed to fund disallowed overtime & fringes expenses, since deputies assigned to the OPSG grant worked excess overtime, which was not included in the grant categorical budget; therefore, it was disallowed by the grantor, Office of the Governor-Homeland Security Grants Div. 

FY 2018 grant period is from 4-1-2019 to 5-31-2020,  Grant expired on 5-31-2020 and Auditor's Office is in the process of completing grant close-out procedures.

Note:  Grant funds from the Sheriff Local Border Security Progm (LBSP) grant are available to pay for disallowed overtime & fringes expenses incurred under the OPSG grant; however, HCSO requested to use General Fund to pay for disallowed overtime & fringes expenses.
