Requesting approval of the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Guidelines for the 2003 Colonia Self Help Center Grant #723013.
BACKGROUND
The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Office of Colonia Initiatives (OCI) recently advised that they are lacking a copy of the approved Housing Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Guidelines for Self Help Home Programs. The County of Hidalgo, Urban County Program staff prepared the guidelines with the technical assistance of TDHCA-OCI staff. TDHCA-OCI approved the housing rehabilitation guidelines. Therefore, approval of the guidelines by the County of Hidalgo is being requested.
Attached please find the housing rehabilitation guidelines approval letter from TDHCA-OCI.
UCP colonia staff recommends approval.
