Discussion and approval of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley - School of Nursing and the County of Hidalgo.
BACKGROUND
The purpose of the agreement is for UTRGV School of Nursing and Hidalgo County to provide clinical education for nursing and allied health students at the clinical facilities which provide essential public health services and will serve to provide clinical support during public health exercises or emergent events as is further described and detailed in the interlocal attached herein.
UTRGV School of Nursing and allied health students will assist and support the medical services at the County based clinics and during emergent events or exercises which will benefit the community's growing medical services field.
