“Subject to Compliance with HB 1295” the Urban County Program is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Rene Guerra and Son Hauling LLC., the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $270,798.45 utilizing UCP funds from Fiscal Years  32, 33 & 34 (2019,2020,2021) Progreso Street Improvements Funds.

BACKGROUND

The bid opening was held on June 7, 2023 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was Rene Guerra and Son Hauling LLC.  Project consists of the reconstruction of streets including but not limited to adjacent/abutting streets within the same general vicinity to include curb and gutter, and related appurtenances, other expenditures include professional engineering service fees, geo-technical and construction material testing fees and advertisements, etc. Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer Fulcrum Consulting Services.
