1. Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements under the Texas Local Government Code 262.024 (a)(4) for professional engineering services in connection with Hidalgo County Urban County Program from Program Year 20 (2007) for a Street Improvements Project in the City of Alamo.

2. Presentation of the scoring grid (of at least three (3) engineering firms from the County's approved "pool" as graded and evaluated by the city of Alamo) for the purposes of ranking by CC in connection with an Urban County Program Street Improvements Project in the City of Alamo.

3. Authority to negotiate a professional engineering service contract with the No. 1 ranked firm of ________________________________ for the provision of engineering services for a City of Alamo Street Improvements Project.

The City of Alamo has graded three engineering firms from the County's approved "pool". Quintanilla, Headley & Associates, Inc., R. Gutierrez Engineering Corporation, and KK Engineering consultants were rated for the 2007 Street Improvements Project to include the construction of streets at Lopez Subdivision.   See attached grading grid for your review.
